biography
Patrick is Deputy Head of the School of Design and Reader in Interior Design at The Glasgow School of Art. He co-founded pop-up innovators Lapland, designed as Frozen River, and was an associate artist and designer for the award-winning theatre company Suspect Culture. He collaborates as SpaceKraft and has taught in China and Singapore.
Research interests
His research interests are primarily focused on the nature, quality and value of the urban interior, in particular through its increasingly diverse means of expression and representation in post-crisis contexts.

Urban interiors, in their nascent, active and vacant form.
Reuse of existing constructed form to catalyse sustainable development.
How spaces within cities might be represented as spectacular cultural phenomena and generators of impactful change.
